Al Bees (Ruby Mountain Honey)

Al keeps about 60 hives in and around the Reno area. Al started 5 years ago in Elko, Nevada at the base of the Ruby Mountains hence that is part of the name. Has since moved to Reno where he now calls home and is a math teacher at Trainer Middle School. Got into bees to have pollination for a garden but now loves the taste of raw unprocessed honey. Honey is sold at Whole Foods Market under the label Al Bees. The Murry Ranch also sells the honey in Pleasant Valley. Also Agape Organic Apples in the south end of Washoe Valley.
